On 2 September 2016, the third edition of the China Film Forum at Venice Days was held and there was a panel on scriptwriting between Europe and China by Shu Huan (Lost in Thailand, Lost in Hong Kong) and Yuan Yuan (Go Away Mr. Tumor). On the same day, Bridging the Dragon offered a workshop for producers on the current context, potential for and ways of engaging in co-production with China, which was also open to documentary filmmakers. In addition to the panel and the workshop, a networking cocktail took place in order to match European and Chinese film professionals.
