3rd SINO-EUROPEAN PROJECT LAB – MODULE 2

After the first session held during the last Shanghai International Film Festival the representatives of 6 co-productions film projects selected from Europe and 6 from China focused on the development of their stories and on building and expanding professional relationships among the participants.
The intensive lab sessions were supervised by acclaimed experts such as Philip LaZebnik, writer of animation classics like Pocahontas, Mulan and Prince of Egypt or Gu Xiaobai, scriptwriter of films like The Red Awn (FIPRESCI Prize - 12th Busan International Film Festival) or People Mountain People's Sea (Silver Lion - 68th Venice Film Festival).
Numerous experienced production tutors, gave the participants of the lab feedback on the projects, among them Chow Keung who produced more than 30 features among which several co-productions including Jia Zhangke's Still Life (Golden Lion - Venice 2006); Mandy Rahn, Manager of International Productions at ARRI; Cai Gongming, CEO of Beijing Road Pictures and many more.
