EURO-ASIAN FORUM
EFM
Following the success of last year, the producers' association Bridging the Dragon together with the European Film Market is set to host the Euro-Asian Forum once again. This comprehensive event will look into several rapidly growing Asian markets, offering an in-depth analysis and identifying potential collaboration opportunities with Europe
The Euro-Asian Forum will kick off with a panel discussion on Monday, 19th February at 10 am. This session will feature representatives from key regions of the Asian film industry, who will share the latest trends, developments in Pan-Asian film collaboration, specific challenges encountered in their collaborative efforts, and insights into the future of Europe-Asia cooperation.
This event will be followed up with an intensive roundtable workshop. Apart from a table focusing on Sino-European collaboration, the workshop will include four tables from other Asian regions each headed by a local expert. The questions and specific projects of the participants will be used as case studies to increase the understanding of how to work with these territories. The small-group format will allow participants to raise specific questions related to their projects or interests and benefit from a rich interaction.
