In collaboration with the upcoming European Film Market, the producers’ association Bridging Visions (formerly known as Bridging the Dragon), will host its traditional European-Asian Film Forum. This event will feature a panel discussion and an intensive roundtable workshop, providing in-depth insights into rapidly growing Asian film markets and exploring exciting opportunities for collaboration with Europe.

Roundtable Workshop - Meeting with Experts: Strategies for Collaboration with Asia

The workshop will feature five expert-led discussions, each focusing on a key Asian region—Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. Participants will have the opportunity to use their projects and questions as case studies to deepen their understanding of working with these territories. The small-group format allows for personalized discussions, fostering rich and meaningful interactions.
This panel will bring together a diverse group of industry experts to discuss the dynamics and rapidly evolving landscape in different territories of the Asian film market. The session will explore key trends across various territories, including the vibrant film biz in the Indonesian market, Taiwan’s active role in international co-productions, the latest updates from China, and the emerging opportunities in Saudi Arabia as a new frontier for the industry.Beyond these regional insights, the panel will address the overall increasing interest of international players in the Asian market and provide valuable perspectives on building effective collaborations with Europe.

Film professionals (producers, distributors, sales agents, etc.) interested in collaborating with Asia may apply. Priority will be given to applicants who had prior experience in features and international co-production. Participants must hold an EFM market badge.
