Graduated as a literature major from Beijing Film Academy, Luo Si, aka Sylvie, is now a screenwriting instructor at Beijing Film Academy, and the vice president of Sichuan Film and Television University. She has been involved in writing many acclaimed films such as THE SILENT WAR (2012) and A MOMENT OF LOVE (2013). In 2017, RUINS, A TRILOGY (2015), which was produced by Luo Si, was selected by China Film Foundation to represent China at the 70th Cannes Film Festival. It has generated huge interest at Cannes Film Festival for its artistic storytelling and daring expressions. ASHES OF SINS will be her directorial debut.
